News
A lovely official opening was held Friday afternoon to celebrate the new 8th green. To mark the occasion, the ladies took part in a second-shot nearest-the-pin competition from 100 metres, with Gillian Petersohn claiming the honours. Congratulations to Gillian on a fine result.
There was also plenty of interest around the new bunker, with several men trying out practice shots, while the ladies agreed to politely ignore its presence for now. A few players demonstrated how to reach the green from 100 metres, adding to the spirit of the afternoon. Mark and his team were warmly congratulated by Paddy, the Club Manager, and Robin presented Mark with a gift of appreciation in recognition of their work.
